About this user
bday 2/74, writer, gamer, IT technician, sports fan, intellectual.
I'm socially very comfortable with myself and extrermely honest with others. Because most social settings assume a typical level of insincerety, I don't enjoy them, so I'm rather a loner, but I'd be happier with a more social life.
Lets see... I've had published the poker novel CARDS, the chess treatise BLITZ THEORY, I've written about 4 more non-published major works, and lots of small stuff. I'm clinically manic-depressive which which I constantly struggle. I also suffer from harsh fibromayalgia.
A major setback for me has been my conclusion that what I deem as high-quality does not seem to correlate with what the overwhelming masses believe to be high-quality.
I have a detrimental instinct to try to hold-on to positive things, instead of just living in the moment and letting them go. I have an extremely active mind which is typically a burden, but naturally there are up sides to it.
I typically don't like to think about politics because it's clear to me that the players can never make true progress if their primary concern is staying in office instead of making society better.
