Born in 1992 in Athens, Jonian Ilias Kadesha took his first lessons from his father at the age of four. A year after he experienced his first appearance on stage. In 2005, at the age of thirteen, Jonian graduated from Athens Conservatory ''Linda Leussi'' with top marks, first prize and special mention. Since 2006 Jonian is continuing his studies with Prof. Grigori Zhislin at the Academy of Music in Würzburg, as well as with Salvatore Accardo, with whom he has worked since 2004 at the ''Walter Stauffer'' Academy in Cremona and Chigiana Summer Academy in Siena. He has also taken part in violin and chamber music master classes with great musicians such as Bernhard Hartog, Massimo Quarta, Pamela Frank, Zakhar Bron, Renaud Capucon, Gabor Takasc-Nagy and the Julliard String Quartet.
From a very young age, he has been awarded in numerous national and international competitions and festivals.

Jonian Ilias Kadesha is the holder of the ``Premio Domenico Arcuri``(Genova) as well as the ``Premio Banca Monte dei Paschi 2005`` as the violinist of the year at the Chigiana Music Academy of Siena.
He has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Greek National Radio Orchestra, Athens Symphony Orchestra, State Orchestra of Athens, State Orchestra of Thessaloniki, Albanian National Radio Orchestra, Monteverdi Orchestra of Cremona and the Symphony Orchestra of Tuscany.During 2005 Jonian Ilias Kadesha recorded the Wieniawski Concerto n.2 with the Greek Radiotelevision Orchestra, and the Vivaldi Concerto in E minor for four Violins with Maestro S.Accardo,Laura Gorna and Anna Tifu with the Orchestra della Toscana under the baton of Christofer Franklin .
He has been invited to international festivals including Amati festival, Ommagio a Cremona, Montebello Chamber Music Festival, Bel Air Festival, Settimane Musicale, DAM festival, Gasparo da Salo Festival, and has collaborated with great musicians such as Salvatore Accardo, Bruno Giuranna and others.
In December 2009 the interest for Chamber Music made Ilias learn the viola and form a Piano Quartet together with Florian Glemser (Piano) Andreas Feldmann (Violin) and Ivan Turkalj (Cello),students of the Music Academy of Würzburg. The Quartet won the the 1st prize at the ``Wolfgang Fischer-Flach`` internal Academy Chamber Music Competition.
Jonian Ilias Kadesha recently performed a recital with the pianist Alexandros Kapelis at Martha Argerich Festival 2010 in Lugano with great success. He also successfully participated at the Vebier Festival Academy 2010.
He is a scholarship holder of Onnasis Foundation(Greece), I.Kostopulos Foundation(Greece) and BSI Bank(Switzerland)
