JONATHAN GANN is the a Washington, DC-based filmmaker. Notable past projects he has written and directed include: "Cyberslut," the first gay-themed short film to play more than 47 festivals and broadcasts world-wide; and "Signs," awarded "Best of DC" in the 2004 48 Hour Film Project, and "Offline" a modern fable. He is the founder of the DC Film Salon, a group that supports and encourages independent film production in the nation's capitol. Jonathan is also the founder and curator of the DC Shorts Film Festival; now in its fifth year, the event attracts filmmakers from across the US and internationally, and has become one of the country's premier short film showcases.
