Nascido a 27 de Janeiro de 1991, João Miguel Garrido nativo de Lisboa, com uma forte influência familiar, cedo desenvolveu um vasto interesse pela música electrónica e pelas pistas de dança. Em 2009 este gosto traduziu-se num investimento na sua carreira não só como Dj mas também como músico, tendo como resultado o diploma com a nota de 16 valores e a credencial de Dj proficional carimbada pela DanceFloor Dj Academy e rubricada pessoalmente por Pedro Goya, Dj e produtor Português, anteriormente sediado em Barcelona e actualmente em Lisboa/Guimarães.

Adoptando uma vertente musical volátil mas homogénea, João Miguel Garrido dá o privilégio ao bom gosto e aos compassos mais melódicos de algumas vertentes do House, com passagens pelo Minimal, Deep, Tech, Tribal, Nu/Indie Disco e Techno, cuidadosamente seleccionados e misturados dando sempre a devida atenção á pista.

O que começou como uma paixão pessoal, obtêm a poucos e poucos o reconhecimento quer de profissionais, quer do público. Com mais de 100 horas de estúdio e várias maquetas produzidas, dando os primeiros passos fora do estúdio, João Miguel Garrido afirma-se cada vez mais dentro das pistas de dança, apresentando as suas selecções musicais que levantaram qualquer um em sítios como o MexeCafé e Soft no Bairro Alto, festas privadas, mais notoriamente duas passagens de ano em Santa Cruz e Nazaré e uma participação no Dj Contest Rock in Rio de 2010. O bom gosto e técnica traduzem-se assim, num músico que sabe o que fazer e o que faz na cabine, dia e noite.

Born January 27, 1991, Joao Miguel Garrido native of Lisbon, with a strong family influence, soon developed a broad interest in electronic music and the dance floor. In 2009 this resulted in a like investment in his career not only as a DJ but also as a musician, resulting in a degree with the grade of 16 points and a credential stamped by DanceFloor Dj Academy and personally initialed by professional Pedro Goya, a Portuguese Dj and producer, formerly based in Barcelona and today in Lisbon / Guimarães.

Adopting a volatile but steady musical source, Joao Miguel Garrido gives the privilege to taste and the more melodic beats of some aspects of the House, having worked at Minimal, Deep, Tech, Tribal, Nu / Indie Disco and Techno, carefully selected and blended always giving due attention of the track and the dance floor, obviously.

What began as a personal passion, is getting recognition of either the professional and the public. With more than 100 hours in the studio and with several models produced, taking the first steps out of the studio, Joao Miguel Garrido is increasingly emerging in the scene, showing his musical selections that raises anyone in places like MexeCafé and Soft in the Bairro Alto, private parties, most notably two new years eve in Santa Cruz and Nazaré and a participation in the Rock in Rio 2010 Dj Contest. Good taste and technique are reflected well in a musician who knows what to do and what he does inside the booth, day and night.
