Jonathan Ansell, the charismatic young singer with the sensational tenor voice shot to fame with pop opera group G4 on the first series of The X Factor in 2004. In 2007 the group decided to go their separate ways and overnight Jonathan became a solo star shooting to the top of the charts with is debut album Tenor at the Movies. This was closely followed by a second best-selling album Forever. Hailed as the "Justin Timberlake of opera" this is just the start of an exciting new journey for Jonathan, whose "natural modesty and delightful charm remain unaffected by his well-deserved success."

Jonathan continued entertaining audiences across the UK as a solo star, including playing the Lead in Carl Rosa's The Mikado, dueting with Hayley Westenra in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, performing at Andrew Lloyd Webbers birthday celebrations in Hyde Park, a nationwide touring production of A Night At the Opera and touring the US with renowned composer Marvin Hamlisch.

Jonathan has also appeared on countless radio and TV shows including, Friday Night is Music Night for BBC Radio 2 as performer and host, The Weakest Link, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, The Alan Titchmarsh show, Loose Women, This Morning, GMTV, Children In Need, Sports Relief, Last Choir Standing, Ready Steady Cook and as the winner in Celebrity Come Dine with Me.

Jonathan has recently enjoyed a transition into musical theatre playing the lead role of The Man in Bill Kenwright's production of Whistle Down the Wind and playing his first straight acting role as Boamer in the stage adaptation of Lark Rise to Candleford directed by Joe Harmston.

Jonathan says; "It's been a real whirlwind for me, I'm very lucky to have these fantastic opportunities. I've enjoyed performing since I was a young boy and I love entertaining people and touching them with what I've been lucky enough to be blessed with; my voice."

Jonathan is looking forward to a summer of live shows. His Intimate Sunday at the Royal Albert Hall sold out in just a few days and saw him performing an acoustic set, with just Piano and Guitar as accompaniment, on Easter Sunday.
Jonathan will soon embark on his first ever nationwide solo tour throughout June and July. Accompanied by three superb singers and some fantastic musicians Jonathan will perform some of G4's greatest hits, classic musical theatre tunes and some of operas most famous songs.'
