Jon has voiced hundreds of commercials, characters, and trailers for clients all over the world. His work has been seen on AMC, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, DisneyXD, History, Discovery, in theaters, and many others.
"Growing up, my older brother Craig and I watched cartoons and did impressions of all of our favorite characters. When I first heard the TV say ''VOLTRON AND THE DEFENDERS OF THE UNIVERSE!' I thought to myself, 'I'd like to do THAT when I grow up.' Then I heard the same voice as Optimus Prime in Transformers, and I've been a fan ever since. My inspiration were Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, Jim Cummings, Rob Paulsen, Jonathan Winters and Bill Cosby. My brother got me interested in the voice actors themselves by pointing out who they were. We were fans of Transformers, GI JOE, Silverhawks, Thundercats, MASK, Care Bears, My Little Pony, Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, Chip 'n Dales Rescue Rangers, Talespin, Gummi Bears, Gargoyles, Batman, Superman, Justice League, Animaniacs, Pinky & The Brain and Freakazoid! Now it's shows like Transformers Prime, Voltron, Fairly OddParents, Spongebob, Young Justice, and GI JOE: Renegades. I never thought that being a voice actor could be a reality. When my wife first made my first MySpace page, I said 'Social networking? That will never last,' but I saw an ad for a national production studio nearby and my wife encouraged me to go audition. She said 'The worst thing they can do is say no.' They made me a demo, signed me and I booked my first gig after only 2 weeks of auditions. I've been a professional voice actor for almost 4 years now, 2 years full-time. My manager found me here on YouTube and has been pushing my movie trailer career as well as Abrams Agency.
