About Me:

Jo Little has been writing and performing her own songs since the age of 12. As well as performing solo she has fronted a variety of bands, the most well known of these being 'Bellebird & The Handsome Gypsies' and ' Midnight Kitchen' with both bands releasing an EP and touring the length of New Zealand. Midnight Kitchen also played The Catlin's River Festival and Luminate Music Festivals. In 2010 Little realeased her second solo EP Mixtape. More recently completing a South Island Tour as the opening act for 'Ash & The Matador's in November. With influences like Gillian Welch, Eddie Vedder and Janis Joplin Jo Little's music has an alternative country-soul flavour.
