Nope, Peter Lewis wrote it (thanks Wiki) and thanks Peter Lewis. This is probably 1967 recording. I saw Moby Grape at Parkers in Seattle in 1996 when they toured with the Stephen Stills Band. Fairly small venue, adoring crowd and a night to remember.
