About Me:
I am the director of the Gifford Children's Choir and other Racine, WI choirs. These are mostly videos of choirs my own children sing in and I direct.
My profile pic is my proud grandfather holding up some huge onions he grew. It is a symbol of pride for me, like the pride I feel in my children.
It is my hope that the videos on this channel will serve to educate the world about the great things that children can accomplish, as well as the cultural value of offering music programs in our schools. I would consider myself successful if these videos lead viewers to support music education. My use of video game songs is intended to help lift the repertoire from its somewhat obscure niche and bring these wonderful songs into the mainstream of concert performances. Some of the videos are parodies intended to poke kindly fun at the original composers and performers.
Viewers are encouraged to seek out the original works from which these videos are derived and purchase them. Please leave me a comment or message if you make such a purchase. Doing so will help support the entertainment industry and show that user generated derivative works are a welcome market influence, not the enemy.
