tires have a little fuel on them after the burnout it splashed back on the tires and me but managed not to flame up, lucky!

me fuel cap came off! the reason for the wet tires for got to tighten it, fuel splashed back on me and the tires, surprised it didnt flame up.

my name is john stanovich, i own and race a nostalgia front engine dragster,the dragster is a 1967 jim davis 175" chromoly chassis,(updated), engine is a 700hp 396c.i. small block chevy 14.5 comp slugs, .690 lift bumpstick, all solid roller, gear drive, brodix heads 2.08/1.60 220 runner, 67cc chamber, callies crank and callies H-beam 6 inch rods, hilborn stack injected on methanol, shorty powerglide 57-64 8 3/4 chrysler rear with spool and 4:56 gears, front axle wing and moon fuel tank, typically runs 8.20's to 8.40's @ 160 to 165 mph. and a blast to drive.
