@sleevedagger what are you talking about? he stole 1/2 those licks from Eric Johnson. granted his chops are great, and he's a great player, he's not an inspired musician.

Seeing U2 in 1987 was one of the most magical experiences of my life. their live shows over the past 10-12 years don't even come close. All rock stars age and cannot duplicate the magic they had in their 20s.

this video hardly captures the experience live back then.

this is a *decent* cover. the guitar tone is especially solid. but like most covers, it just doesn't meet the original now, does it.

Ozzy is a unique talent. it's very difficult to outdo his incredibly well-suited hard rock voice. Sorry, Sabbath still rules on this one.

@mikerizzo42 spoken like a man who has never seen Van Halen live in the 70s, 80s, or early/mid 90s. Van Halen owned live shows during that period. here they are just old. eddie's hand is failing here, and he had to have surgery towards the end of the tour or shortly thereafter.

this solo is a complete copy of Eddie Van Halen. Even his guitar is a Van Halen-wannabe guitar.

Ed has way more chops, way more creativity, way more soul, rhythm, melody, and of course, TONE. Nice try, Neal. Love you, but no cee-gar.
