@tubedebby I've only seen parts of the 1995 but the 2005 version has far better cinematography in my opinion. The 1995 version just seems a bit bland. Also after seeing Judi Dench play Lady Catherine, all others fall short imo.
I also think you and others are missing the point of adaptation...
