Dr. Joe Fanning lives in Johns Creek, GA with his wife Brooke and their one and a half year old son. His practice is located at 4310 Johns Creek Parkway, Suwanee, GA 30024. While not working you may find Dr. Joe cycling through town, exercising in the park or local gym, spending time with his family or maybe shopping at Whole Foods.

After receiving a rugby injury at the age of 16 and getting such good results from chiropractic care, Dr. Fanning set his sites on becoming a chiropractor.

I had started playing organized mens rugby at the age of 16 and I was the victim of a tremendous blow to the head which left me in a neck brace. After trying the medical approach without any success, I decided to see my fathers friend who was a chiropractor. I had such a great experience from chiropractic! My body responded quickly and my health improved. I was so amazed with my accomplishments that I decided that I wanted to also be a chiropractor, says Dr. Fanning.

Dr. Fanning began his chiropractic education, with his pre-chiropractic requirements in New York. There he studied basic pre-professional courses with an emphasis on the basic science courses such as inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, along with basic physiology and anatomy courses for four years.

After completing his course of study there, he was accepted at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. During his additional four years of studies at Life, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, x-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Life University Public Clinic.

Each year, continues Dr. Fanning, I attend various seminars to keep up with the latest in the latest research and newest developments in the chiropractic profession. That keeps my skills in top form.

Dr. Fanning has helped thousands of Johns Creek-area residents regain their health since opening his practice here in 1998. Dr. Joe just opened his newest office: Johns Creek Chiropractic in November of 2007. In 2008, Dr Fanning also added Discover Wellness Center to his practice. Discover Wellness allows us to offer each of of our patients free wellness coaching that they may access on their own time to truly achieve maximum health benefits. The service can be accessed via phone, internet and chat service and it is availabe to our patients entire family. Some of the topics include: diet, exercise, smoking cessation, stress management, childrens nutriton and many others.
