@33madisonave Mo just didn't want 10 furlongs. Don't believe what you hear from the connections... they get paid to make excuses. He would have won the mile with ease. This race was pure greedy from Repole. Pletcher would have run him in the dirt mile.

Looked pretty impressive especially since he didn't change leads until inside the final furlong. Will have to include him on my BCC tickets for sure.

The creepiness of the Animals version is what makes it so incredible and just can't be replicated. Matt actually does a decent job singing but the distortion kind of kills it. Not bad. Muse could have done better if they actually tried, sounds like this one was for fun.

You see most bands live and hope they can come close to replicating CD sound. You see Muse live and think, DAMN I wished they sounded this good on CD.

Muse needs to go back to writing music like this. Incredible.

This should be mandatory on every Muse live playlist. Along with Citizen Erased, Cave, Fury, and Showbiz (even it Matt can't hit those notes anymore).

@FloridaVermont Have you ever heard of track variant? 1:59 at Churchill is different than 1:59 at Santa Anita or Arlington or Belmont or wherever. A lot more goes into the final time than how fast the winner ran. 1) Depth of the track 2) Condition of the track (sloppy fast wet fast etc). 3) Pace....
