About John Davis DuRant, Jr.
Male vocalist performing primarily traditional Celtic and American Folk. However, there are many songs that I like to bring into my genres by re-arranging the style. I like to come up with my own thoughts and arrangements, but when I come across an arrangement I love, I'll do my best to do it justice.

Opportunities came early and at 5 years of age, I began performing on stage with my father. Over the years opportunities were sought out to expand my musical knowledge and performance experience. This came from studies in saxophone and woodwinds primarily playing jazz and the blues. However, my love for folk music could not be forgotten for very long...Combining traditional Celtic with my jazz background has created a unique twist, providing a high energy and engaging show for all ages. With a focus on guitar and vocals offering up familiar songs, you can't hold back from singing along. You'll be clapping your hands to some of your favorite songs as well as finding some new ones to enjoy. So come and try a new artist that you'll be sure to enjoy and remember to always keep a song in your heart!
