That's very nice. I have the exact same coffee maker, only without the "coffee saver" basket. The back of the unit reads "model MC-IA." Mine has been used quite a bit, but it still performs as well as it did when it was new. As the old cliché goes, they don't make 'em like they used to.

The really new commercial stirling engines are able to use parabolic mirrors to focus sunlight onto the compression cylinder. @SethVandenberg - I think what you heard was the phrase "six-inch liner," referring to a 6in tall liner inside the bag, for keeping it relatively rigid. Dave also mentioned that there's a nine-inch liner, too.
