@Goottilainen Yes it is! As this style, Samba is one of the of the 10 international style ballroom dances and in that context it looks much different than the kind of samba you are used to.

@Benedictelucia yea this is pretty standard clothing for a studio. this way they can really be aware of what their bodies are doing (are they engaging their core, extending lines through the legs, etc.) and the teachers/choreographers can give correct and thorough feedback.

Great energy, pretty good musicality. I think you should all take ballet (or more ballet if you already take it), even though you're doing jazz, ballet is still the foundation and will make you better dancers.

I'm a little annoyed that this song, her final audition song on the callback episode AND her only last chance performance were all the same song. From the snippets in the group performances we got to see that she is very talented but we never heard an entire song other than this one.

@PedooooBear It's from the film "Elephant" which was a film about a school shooting in response to the Columbine shooting. One is at the other's house and they're skipping school right before they go to school to murder a bunch of people and then kill themselves.

@avoca1970 this hairstyle also takes like 10 years (exaggerating) off. What I mean is that in this video he looks young again compared to "Rolling in the Deep" and "Shake Me Down"

@MsSmm84 well presumably they did 3 songs and we didn't see the other two on camera. In the past remember how New Directions would have rachel do a solo and then the other two songs would be more group-oriented or whatever.

I'm sorry but the person that this clip shows in the worst light is Phillip. The way he got so worked up and played into the Matt Barker drama shows he takes this show and the "characters everyone plays" too seriously.

She is currently my favourite dancer in the world. She's also insanely versatile.
