I just wanted to say thanks for posting and keeping a video log of your journeys. You inspired me to get out there and hike the Appalachian Trail, I will be heading out to thru hike the PCT or CDT sometime in 2014 and I can't wait to get back on the trail.Thanks again mate, for the inspiration.

Are you still an avid backpacker? If so, what are your favorite hikes locally? I am looking for 4-7 mile loops to get me prepped for my NCT/FLT section hike this summer
