Warner Brothers movies were practically campaign commercials for FDR. They were blatantly, overtly so. This movie, The Ghost Breakers, was made by Paramount, and I wonder if they stuck this line in there just to take a swipe at Warner.

@aachelabelaaron No, that happens even when the water doesn't touch the curtain. Water heats the air which rises and sucks air in the bottom. Try it with a cold shower (you don't have to be in there) or with the curtain not fully closed allowing air in through the side.

Not only do I share the sentiment, but that's an extraordinarily eloquent way to put it.

I like it, but it would be great if a truly a cappella group did it without the synth and heavily processed voices to which these guys are lip syncing. They would need a couple of extra voices to replace the synth, but it would be worthwhile.

This scene is so well remembered for the words "such tenderness" that the poster put those words in the title, and then edited that sentence out of the video!!!

This is an acting tour de force, but obviously it's better to watch one of the other copies on youtube without the editing.
