@jamie190595 Yes they do modern jet engines all have have gear boxes. Have you never wondered why the 737-300- 800 have a " hamster pouch" intake ? It is because the gear box and other parts are mounted on the side of the engine rather than inside or underneath to provide adequate ground clearance.

That is no cargo plane though just one heavy passenger box with full fuel load.

Has anyone been able to work out JDW pricing policy? In Glasgow you can have ale at £1.65 in one premises and £2.30 in one 100yds down the road.

They have increased their prices by stealth over the last 12 months and are nowhere near as cheap as they were - same goes for the food.
