God has a name and it's not LORD.
Most bible translations in the Old Testament replace the tetragrammaton (God's Name in Hebrew) יהוה with LORD, all in capitals. The english equivalent is YHWH, usually pronounced Yahweh. If you don't have a translation that uses His name, just think of His name whenever you see LORD, all in caps, in the Old Testament.
Isaiah 42:8, "I am YHWH; that is my name! I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols."
