@SilentSlayer90 They are both designed to be excellent all around performance and luxury cars. One just happens to have a much much larger torque band due to its aspiration. No one does it like BMW. Simply the best manufacturer ever.

This Z06 sounded like it had full exhaust with headers atleast. I would assume it was cammed as well. Approximately 415 to the wheels.

Wow I'm unimpressed by the cobra. Maybe my headers and solid tune on my z06 would let me beat that cobra? My friends 2002 f body is about 505 to the wheels and he pulls me pretty hard on the freeway. The cobras just must be really inefficient.

@dks11000 I've had experience with both of those two on a real track, and the Z is just as good.

I have a z06 and a 3 series and I will say the brakes on the 3 seem better, but once they heat up on the track after 30 minutes, Id put my life in the hands of my z.

@RandyMedion Due to the very short 5th gear and the retarded 6th gear overdrive. I would much prefer an actual 6th gear to a few more mpg's in my non daily driver. It would easily pull 185 if not more if 6th was a gear.

@StreetHOPER The M6 weighs only a touch less than the M5 and at high speeds weight becomes less and less of an issue. Either way, the M6/M5 is much faster than most cars with its power to weight ratio. 2 impressive cars.

@Triplethreat600 Its amazing what a decent set of nittos and a proper alignment can do for a z06. I prefer nitto nt05 myself however.
