The first comparison is just playing fast on a delay, there's nothing similar about the riffs other than that. The second part is 2 hand tapping, an extremely common practice. I'm guessing the creator of this video isn't a guitar player.

Some people may be missing the point here. I don't think he's saying that it's practical to believe in both science and faith. He just said that people do it anyway, and the divide doesn't seem to manifest among people's beliefs as it does under logical scrutiny.
