Joey Davila Band is a blues/rock band from Texas, whose goal is to change the world through their unique style of positive, thought provoking music. Drawing from their roots in Texas Blues & Hard Rock, JDB has produced their sophomore album, "Help Me", which has gained great reviews from internet radio listeners and new fans as well. Front man, Joey Davila (lead vocals/guitar) has honed his craft throughout the years in various bands in which he's shared the stage with Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, Steppenwolf, Vallejo, The Outfield, Storyville, Edgar Winter, Nazareth and many more. In 2002 Joey re-committed his life to Christ and has been playing for Him ever since.
"The concept behind Help Me was to write music that a non Christian radio listener/rocker would like. If you grew up on SRV, ACDC, Stones, etc, it's a challenge to get into Christian radio. So, I wrote an album that I would liked to have heard when I first became a Christian." Joey Davila
Their debut CD "Go Back" has been in the Top 10 of the Rock -- Religious Charts on Broadjam.com since November of '09. The title track, "Go Back" was also nominated for Song of the Year in the Contemporary Christian category in the 10th Annual Independent Music Awards in 2010. JDB has also been featured on Skopemag.com and Jango Internet Radio where they are tracking fans from around the globe including the United States, Finland, The Philippines, Mexico, Nicaragua, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, etc.
