Susan Raye had one of the prettiest faces ever to grace the cover of a country music album. And a haunting voice that has stayed with me for over 30 years. Talent, quality, and staying power. Something Taylor Swift will (sadly) never have.

I would honestly love to hear Carrie do more real country. Not the raw godawful pop crap that she does so much of. She has the voice and puts real emotion in, at least in this song.
