About Me:
Transferring to and continuing at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, where he received his Bachelor of Music degree, he studied organ with Gerhard Krapf and sang in the university chorus under Daniel Moe.
Moving to the cold north, he did graduate studies at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis for two years studying organ with Heinreich Fleischer and composition with Dominick Argento.
Since 1980 Wayne has lived in Manhattan and the greater NYC area. He was the organist for the American Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall from 1987 to 1989.
While schooled and degreed in music, Wayne normally worked full-time in the corporate world while maintaining a part-time church music position. He's now very happily retired from both the corporate world and regular church music making.
Wayne and his husband Joe have been life-partners for 22+ years. They celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2009 with a luncheon for fifty friends and relatives including Wayne's two daughters.
Wayne and Joe reside in Morris County, New Jersey (Metro NYC area).
