Ya know, it seems anyone can hide under the cover of distortion and effects, but I personally find that true musical talent comes out on simple, acoustic guitar. Now, I'm not denying the fact that these are good guitarists, but it seems that distortion, well, distorts natural talent.

Haha, "Illegally Copied" yeah right. Take a simple guitar riff, simple melody and make a song out of it, there's gonna be repeats at some point or another, that is just going to happen. It isn't preventable!
