Joe Felong is a 20-year-old student filmmaker, visual artist, and corporate web video producer. He is currently studying Film and Television at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He has also studied film, television studio, and non-linear editing at Boston University's Institute for Television, Film, and Radio Production. For 9 months between 2006 and 2007, he professionally produced a short documentary film for Buffalo Media Resources, PBS Station WNED, and the Preservation Coalition of Buffalo, titled "THE INFECTED DISTRICT." His work has screened at Buffalo's Market Arcade Cinema, The Buffalo Niagara Film Festival, Squeaky Wheel, and Tisch Film showcases. His remix of Forrest Gump, "Jenny's Trailer," has been a Featured Video on YouTube, with over 30,000 views. You can view his projects and productions on this YouTube channel, as well as the channels "iTRPJeffreys" and "THEINFECTEDDISTRICT" located in subscriptions.
Joe is currently the Multimedia Intern at VoIP Supply in Buffalo, New York, where he is working with the marketing director to develop and produce company web videos.
In Fall 2010, Joe will be Director and Director of Photography on two 35mm short films at the Film and Television School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
