Thanks.....actually I do have a cool pineapple trick, and with pomegranates we use to pick them and then roll them back and forth on a table or the ground until soft, then poke a small hole in the top, insert a straw and drink...LOL! No muss no fuss!

I do all of my painting and pastel coloration 'after' baking....

@bicnarok Are you using the stick inside the head to hold onto? It is really a good thing, specially when a person has warm hands...the clay tends to smoush easily! I personally would have a hard time without having something to hold onto...

@1Jupiterlight1 .. any tool actually that gets the job done...I use a lot of dental spoons, Kemper Lacing tool, miniature tools that Richard makes for me...I know many that use a simple cuticle orange stick that is filed on one side . Ball stylus, just look around art and craft stores...many tool...
