Joanne Bayley is a 24 year old vocalist from Essex. She's been into music right from an early age and loves to perform. She was born with a cleft pallet so for her it's a gift that she has a strong unique tone to her voice.

It's when she went to a vocal coach for some help, she liked the unique tone and natural ability and encouraged her to concentrate on singing. Joanne didn't need telling twice as she has always preferred music and wanted to perform.

Joannes's voice is her main instrument but is currently learning to play the guitar. She was part of a duo for a year, they had several gigs but decided to go their own ways.

Soon after this Joanne lost her voice for a year due to nodules on her vocal chords, with lots of rest and determination she got her voice back. She's performed at Thurrock Festival 2010 with an amazing 5000+ audience. Joanne is currently recording new songs and working on a new album...
