BBC1 stopped closing down for the night in the autumn of 1997 - they started handing over to BBC News 24 for the wee small hours! Nice to see a Public Information Film - didn't realise they'd been showing those again in the 90s, but I do remember BBC1 showing PIFs before closedowns in the late 80s!

Didn't Channel 4's test card play this in later years during its classical music phase?! It also played some similar classical guitar music (Rodrigo's Concertino for Guitar & Orchestra in A Minor) which I heard years later on Classic FM and was able to obtain.
