I don't think it's fair to say it's racist, when you didn't hear the question. Did she specifically ask about this in relationship to blacks? Or did he inject that on his own. I will reserve judgement until I see the question. But if she did... why would she ask him that?

Sounds to me like he was going to say "Don't want to make lives better", then corrected himself mid word to put "Peoples Lives better" in there and the stutter step sounded similar to black.
Plus that phrasing fits in more with his general statement, rather than just throwing in the word black t...

Al Capone did lots of bad things, none proved in a court of law, but died in jail for tax evasion. She should be in jail for SOMETHING and not profiting off of her daughters death, which she obviously had some part in, be it murder or neglect.
