This is right out of my childhood, I lived on Northlawn off Davison, so I wasn't far from the Makenzie hood. This was back when you could to to Sears on Oakman and Grand River and buy a home movie camera (Sears sold everything) and make your own movies. Love it!
I love watching these vintage films of Detroit. My parents moved from the South to Detroit during that time. I was a kid of the '70s so it is interesting to see Detroit the way they saw it.
