We just finished remixing my brand new single "Anonymous" with Grammy nominated remix team Moto Blanco.
The song was released October 3rd, 2011 and is currently being played on KISS FM and Capital/UK and charted in TOP 10 at #5 in British Music Week Club Charts and UK clubs.
Lately I have been very into the blogging scene so I am going to start video blogging and updating frequently. 'I Wanna Go There' and the Stonebridge remix has been one of the longest running records on the British Music Week Charts this year only behind pop heavyweights Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Pitbull and Katy Perry.
Peaking in the top 20 at #17, this week moving back up on the Pop Chart this week for the 5th week inside the top 30 and go back up to #20 in a very competitive chart after a total of 8 weeks.

J Latif has been up against every single big artist who has mailed a record out over the 8 week period and the turn around is crazy with 8 new entries alone this week.

The reactions and longevity speak for themselves and 'I Wanna Go There' is very much a big commercial pop track out there and for an indie debut, this is quite fantastic.
The song also charted at #14 in the Up Front Charts with the Stonebridge remix and a plot building at commercial radio with Kiss, Radio One and Capital Network, J Latif is steadily building a loyal following with DJ's and audiences alike.

The debut video release for the "I Wanna Go there" Stonebridge Radio Edit took place 3 weeks ago and the video is now on rotation on CSC Media Group Playlist UK Channel- Dance Nation and Soundnet and has already garnered some raving reviews from DJ's and insiders who had a sneak preview
The follow up single "Anonymous" is set for a release date in late April featuring remixes by 2 time Grammy nominated remixers Moto Blanco as well as a video release.
And another single "A Guy like Me" to follow up in the summer of 2011.

J Latif's song "Keep Smiling", written by Joshua Latif Adams and Thomas Gallmeier, in the R&B/Hip-Hop category, has been selected as a finalist by the ISC (International Songwriting Competition) listening committee. Finalists were chosen from over 15,000 entrants, making this an extraordinary achievement. The Video release has just debut on youTube.
and features the artist's more serious pop/R&B cross over appeal.
