@MyBrotherMan Great comment above about Berry Oakley on this recording. He is just killing it. The combination of him and Duane together is just sick. So spooky what happened to them. As great as the ABB was and is... imagine what they might have been if they both lived long lives.

    Allman Brothers Band Dreams 07.16.70

The Allman Brothers Band playing at Stonybrook..37 years to the day REMEMBER DUANE ALLMAN, and comment and rate if you want more!!

    jkc67 jkc67 commented:

What is amazing about the Allmans is how dramatically the band changed from the late 60's-early 70's to the mid 70's with the passing of Duane and Berry Oakley. While still a phenomenal band, they were really never the same. How could they be? To lose one of the greatest guitar players ever. That...

Agreed, but there is probably no more important consideration than the opponent you are playing. Hellmuth's bluffs are never large... he does a lot of small bet bluffs that he wants to look trappy. At this point Dwan has played with Hellmuth enough to know that. I know you a...

Thanks for this video... NBC or whomever determines what matches to show did not do a very good job here IMO... the Selbst/Elezra, Cunningham/Seidel, and Harman/Seed matches all had to be much more interesting than Matusow/Raymer which was really lame.

Has anybody else noticed that you never see Ivey explaining what he was thinking on a given hand... I get the sense that he does not want to give anything away. While it's certainly true that Hellmuth is not the in the class of Antonius, Ivey or Dwan in cash games, neither is Negreanu. Everytime he plays with them he loses.
