Just heard this on DI (Ciaran Begley's Solace Sounds 71). Fabulous tune - love the vocal. The lyrics don't necessarily have to make sense, so long as it fulfils the object of sounding beautiful, spaced-out and utterly trancesque.

Oh yes, that sectioned Deltic lump at York is mint. The mrs glowers at me every time we go to the NRM and I start poking round the thing. Went earlier this year and they had a tatty-looking Deltic loco in the workshop, wonder if the old girl is running yet?

Sounds to my ears like a "race-tuned" full-size Deltic; same throb, only higher pitched and less smooth sounding.

I know very little about trains but those Deltic engines are works of art.

To my (admittedly rather frazzled) ears, the vocal and percussion are reminiscent of early-90s rave. Marvellous.

One of the greatest vocals ever; the harmony between 2:20 and 2:35 is just phenomenal. Has to be played properly loud to do it justice!
