Back in California at the old stomping grounds, Zuma beach! Purchased a beautiful 4 bed 4 full bath 2270 sq.ft. cottage style home on the slope above Trancas market off the PCH. Signed a new contract, with a big signing bonus to do R&D/training for the next 6 years out at Edwards on the F100/232plus....and NG F119.The wife loves it that shes home, she was getting tired of the New Jersey/ Virginia winterzzzzzzz, both of us are born and raised Southern Californians that can't stand anything below 72˚.
I also get to see my mom, sister and brother anytime I want now without having to hitch a ride in a cargo hold !!!
So for those that have missed us (aim better) and have not heard from us....YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!! We're back and ready for those late night poker sessions! Bring cash, I don't accept checks....hahaha.

My kids and of course my wife are my major hobbies. Real Estate, Investing (In P&W) Flying, Military, Corvettes/Drag racing and Surfing! 24 year member of the NHRA and a 11 year IHRA member. Been part of the NHRA's Division 7 out here on the West Coast. My choice for the strip is a 2004 Z06 Corvette that I race in Comp Eliminator that replaced my 97 Corvette that my nephew now campaigns with a major detune (No more Turbo motor, now it runs a 12:1 415ci naturally aspirated LS6) in Super Street. My home track is Pomona. I recently purchased a 2010 Z06 that will get the typical mod's in the future, possibly turbo's but will stay a street driven beast! Almost put the money out there for a ZR1 but would of been extending myself way to far out there, $72,000 (my brothers a big wig at Chevrolet) vs. $104,000 for the ZR1. With the extra $32,000 I can do wonders with the Z06 but I can spread that out over a few years! Also, the difference in insurance between the Z06 and ZR1 is about $850.00 a month, that would of really put me out there money wise. Surfing is and will always be my sport of sports. The feel of freedom when sitting out in the line up is of pure joy. This will be my 36th year of surfing, I started when I was 3 when I was growing up in Hermosa Beach south of where I am now. I can remember my dad and sometimes my mom pushing me into waves on this little (little back then) 5'2" fish made by Rick of Rick's Surfboards in Hermosa Beach just for me, It was kinda wide but was really easy to surf. My mom tells me the first ever wave they pushed me into I got up on my feet and rode it until the wave petered out on the shore break. Just wish I could do more Surfing than just weekends and the occasional Holiday or Vacation trip (although the 18 days in Chile would keep me satisfied for months back in 2008) Having such a long way to drive each morning to work, 2 hours each way, but no traffic, just a long drive through the Mountains and Desert, but a nice drive. Early morning sessions are no longer possible because I have to leave the house at 4am and in the winter I don't get home until after dark, at least in the Summer I have a good 2 hours after work which is nice. I am looking into getting myself one of the on-base 1 bed huts to spend the week out there, then drive home on the weekends. We are also looking at cutting the work week down to 4 days by working 10-12 hours a day, just waiting on the big bosses back in Connecticut. The good thing is everyone here is on board with the idea!
