Hey Guys, as you can hopefully see my channel consists of all things Medicine. Whether your interested in pursuing a career in Medicine, or simply curious about the human body in general, you'll find everything here. I've gone through Youtube looking for the best vids on Medicine and have placed all the best videos in my favorites. I will soon begin sorting them into various playlists according to the topic that they will fall in.

If you see any videos that would be pertinent to my channel please don't hesitate to send them to me. And it doesn't necessarily have to be serious in nature. Humorous vids are welcome.
If you have any questions regarding starting a career in Medicine, and where to begin, please message me and I will answer your questions.

Although taking certain medications and having surgeries done after the Doctor orders you to are fine, there are steps you can take in trying to prevent coming to that stage. Of course some diseases cannot be prevented such as genetic diseases, diseases that one has inherited due to someone in their family having had it. But we can still take necessary steps to prevent the preventable diseases the best we can:

Stay fit- exercise regularly; it doesn't necessarily have to be this 4 hour 5X a week routine. It can take you about 20 minutes a day to maybe a taking a stroll, and doing some light stretching. The key is keeping yourself from being idle all day, and being active. Being fit instills a sense of self-confidence that we all need in our lives.
Eat right and avoid the fatty and the artificially enhanced foods, such as fast foods and frozen foods, as best as you can. When it's snack time, instead of springing for the soda and potato chips how about getting yourself a nice fresh apple and a glass of refreshing milk? I'm not saying that you should avoid all the "bad stuff" but rather eat in moderation. Don't put off eating healthy for later, START NOW!

Above all keep a positive outlook on things. It is said that many diseases manifests in a person psychologically. Even if you do suspect having a medical condition after doing tons of research online and diagnosing it yourself , don't fret about it. It is the Doctor's final say on the matter that counts after all. You can help yourself a whole lot simply by thinking positively even if you do have a condition. Thinking negatively with hopeless thoughts can only hurt you more.
