This sounds like it's the version recorded by Rutter with the Cambridge Singers -- so it had better be good! This was always my favourite of the five two, despite a soft spot for the archly innocent setting of Owl and the Pussycat :-D

I first heard these two songs on a Naxos disc coupled with the clarinet sonatas, and they'd been arranged for clarinet replacing the viola. Still feels weird to hear the viola playing those lines, but I love these performances!
