I started listening to kpop in middleschool when H.O.T. came out, after one of my friends gave me their cd to borrow. I like the music and the dances very much, compared to what the USA has right now ^^
also there are so many tv shows like Strong Heart and Hot Blood, and the SME shows, that let us feel closer to the stars as we watch them grow, which is not ever done in the USA, so I appreciate their music more!
