@scrumsie At the same time you once again profess Dave Weckl over the top of either. Try Buddy Rich or Dennis Chambers or Jo Jo Meyer as they are all closer the the type of drummer that it would appear you are after. For ultra groove try Steve Gadd, he's a legend.

The words technical and breakdown should not appear in the same sentence. A breakdown, and all the ones here, is a one note/chord riff usually accompanied by an overdubbed sweep/tapping wank fest. A very good example of how autotune can make even the shittiest singer sound semi reasonable, but you can hear the effect working very, very hard.
