I'm a Yes fan, for the instrumental parts alone. I don't much care for their lyrics, as they are more like words thrown together in wierd arrangements that have no particular meaning. Some may call that poetry, but not I. The only Yes song that remotely had a coherent lyric was, "Owner Of A Lonel...

@BobDylanFan1966 The line is supposed to be, "they tell me". Paul substituted, "they'd send me". It was a fast recovery. He does indeed look nervous, since he is singing before royalty, and on live television too. The way I look at it, the roayal family is probably used to being sent flowers, so ...

I just bought a like-new Commodore 1541C Disk Drive and an Epyx Fast Load Cartridge. I have not been able to test the cartridge yet. However, I think your results could be due to several factors. 1.) If the cartridge worked as it should, you probably wouldn't have been able to buy it so cheaply. ...

This song is supposed to be funny. It's not supposed to be analyzed to death. Of course, Henry Higgins was sexist, but that's the entire point. Eliza Doolittle quickly outgrows the role of guinea pig in his, "Pygmalionistic" experiment, and becomes a lady who gets to dance with a prince, regardle...

Epyx was a video game company, among other things. Maybe they designed the Fast Load Cartridge to load their own games faster, and not those made by other manufacturers. There were a lot of software and hardware manufacturers back in the 1980's who didn't share their technological secrets.

He's basically just playing arpeggiated chords at a fast tempo. I can't do it myself, but for an experienced pianist, I don't think it would be very hard, either. It just sounds complex because of the fast tempo.

Ringo sung the vocal in this song while simultaneously playing drums, back when he sung it with The Beatles. Given that fact, I agree with ComicKrew, that it is strange that he's not playing drums in this 2005 version. He seems to delegate duties that he used to have to other members of his band.

I have this record. It belonged to my deceased parents. Does anyone else notice someone speaking, at the end of the piano solo, telling someone to, "turn" (something), "back a little"? Why would they leave this in? Couldn't the band, or Capitol Records afford another take? Then again, I guess it ...

I agree that Helen Forrest was one of the greatest singers of the big band era. However, if you google Bea Wain, and search for a video of the song, "Heart and Soul", you will discover a lesser known, but equally talented female singer. Also, "Heart and Soul" is not just three verses that are rep...
