Thanks for posting! This is one of my favorite Dan written America tunes. Dan not only could write great music, He could also sing, play piano, guitar and bass as well. This was a time period in music where the music was well written and in this case 'orchestrated' Unfortunately, music today ...

RIP Dan. I have fond memories of Dan and America. First America album I purchased was Hearts in 1975. Have been a fan ever since. Always liked the "outfit" that Dan was wearing on the cover of the Hearts album and "copied" Dan's outfit while in going to college in the late 1970's. Condolence...

Lead singer is Ellis Hall. Ellis is still kicking and sounds better than ever. Saw him in October 2010 in Erie, PA. Actually met him after the gig and he was a very personable guy.

Great player. Saw JC at the Saxophone Congress when it was in Minneapolis a few years back. The guy can do anything with a saxophone ...short of eating it! Do not know him personally however, after some brief conversation, he did not seem very approachable.

When you watch this, be sure to note the great soundtrack. Written by Morton Stevens who wrote much of the music for the original Hawaii Five O television series.

Great harmony singing on Temptation Eyes with Rob Grill and Dennis Provisor. These guys were great. Too bad we will more than likely never have "Top 40 Music" like this ever again ...but at least we have the memories and the music!
