Jimmy Mancus is an independent musican from Springbrook, PA. Unlike most singer/songwriters today, Mancus has chosen to forego the copy-cat, radio-friendly soft rock that has flooded the acoustic genre. Instead, he creates uniquely upbeat acoustic rock that encompasses several different styles, including indie, funk, surf and hip-hop. Mancus's soon-to-be-released new album, "Move Down", is a testament to his mantra of going against the grain and doing things his own way. In addition to Jimmy's own unique acoustic style and guitar riffs, the album features amped-up electic guitar/leads, scratch turntables, funk-keyboards and dynamic percussion.
