This is the nicest put together 500 ive seen. Ive never ridden any 2 stroke as brutal as a CR500. These are incredible bikes in both torque and horsepower.

@jamesb1123 the new R1's do not have the power to be drag bikes, the motors are setup for track. If you want a drag bike, Buy a Busa.

Very nice trail for a four stroke but those two strokes are meant to be ridden balls to the wall. CR500s are just straight up NASTY bikes. I wish we had places around my town to ride like that.

@barnsklg The mehcanics are wearing gas-masks, which probably means that car is running nitromethane or alchohol, WHICH IN TURN means that car is def. making 3000 hp.

what? did you really mash it in 6th gear? That puts the engine under extreme load. Engine should of held that though i would think.

@dailyforman Ive ridden in this car. This car has NO turbo lag. NONE. It appears like it does in the video because hes easing into the throttle to prevent wheel spin, which is impossible in this car. This atom will pin you into the seat until you cry for mercy.

Yeah my 06 Gix 1000 sounds just like this bike at idle. Must be a suzuki thing. Granted its not good to sit there and rev it like that, but if the motor cant handle that kind of abuse, Suzuki is doing something wrong,.

As long as you dont touch the solid dry ice itself, you wont get burned (frost bite) Touching the bubbles does no harm to your body. You can actually inhale some and it will taste sort of like soda.

whats the point of wearing a jacket if your not going to wear a helmet. I wonder if these guys have ever had a bug splat against their face at 65 mph. I have. And i had to pull over and stop because it hurt so bad. Now these bright gents were doing VERY well over 65 mph. Keep your visors down...

What, these bikes dont power up in first at least? I cant keep my front wheel on the ground in first gear on my gsxr1000, especially after about 8,000 rpm. Maybe they werent WOT at the beginning. i dont know.

Eating oil much? 2008 cbr 1000s are well known for being oil hungry which means bad piston rings or to much ring clearance. From what i understand, the dealership will fix it for free, paid for by suzuki.

After watching a vid of other guys doing 150mph through highways, i cant see how you were doing 160mph. The cars in the other lane were falling behind way to slow. 160kph converts to about 99mph and thats how fast it looked like you were going.

@curumata The speedometer is reading Kilometers per hour, not Miles per hour.
