I'm a massive fan of Oasis, Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets, The Charlatans etc. but they just couldn't touch the Stone Roses. They were just a class and-a-half apart from any other band at the time.

I'm a massive Liverpool fan and this still made me laugh. When you grow up with a football team though, it is like a family. Like a "we", not a "them" or a "they". It's personal. So it doesn't annoy me when people say that. Big fans of Mitchell and Webb though, funny guys!

Always been massive fans of The Stone Roses, Kasabian and Oasis. They've all got it for me. Gritty, good style, arrogance, proper guitar music. Need more bands like them.
