Hello!! I am a Human Resources Administrator (by trade), crocheter (by passion), and neophyte pole dancer!! I have taken pole dancing classes, at Poise Dance Studio, since July 2009. I would be considered a plus size by weight: 5' 5'' & 165 lbs. However, I appear smaller. :)

Through this form of exercise and strength training, I have gained a new level of confidence and appreciation for my body. I hit my weigh loss plateau months earlier (170 - 175 lbs) and needed a workout to push my body harder. I am a fan of Beachbody, Walk Away the Pounds, and The Firm. But now it was the time to kick it up a knotch.

Every year I plan to take professional pictures for my Birthday. However, I never accomplished my weight goal 170 lbs. So far I have surpassed that goal and look forward to a toner & fitter body for April 2010.

Now I'll have to incorporate some Pole shots!! ;)
