the only way to raise the amperage is to make the anode (Neg. - Zinc) surface area larger. the larger the surface area the more the amperage! Even if you use a 4'x4' square of sheet metal it will not make more than 1.5-2 vdc. you must hook in series but a plate that size will crank out the amps.....
