Oh my gosh, today was AMAZING!
So I went on a beach ride with a girl in my lesson, Colleen. I rode Frosty (the only bay horse you can see) and Colleen rode Snowy (Snowflake) the pony (she appears grey in this video but she is light light palomino). Anyways we went down 15 minutes of road walking and trotting in different spots then arrived to the beach. We warmed them up by cantering the way down the beach and then on the way back we were allowed to gallop! It was so fun! Also, since I ride English, and there were western saddles and horses I had to learn to ride some of that discipline too (well...kinda). Those saddles were SO comfy! And I galloped no hands (!!!!!) but I don't know if the video is clear enough for you to see, but it was fun!
Thank you Newport Equestrian Center for allowing me to ride Frosty!

But yeah, i found the song, No Regrets, really appropriate for us, especially me with how much my riding has improved with this little pony since i lost Jiggy & how much more confident i am!

I chose 'The Climb' because i found it relevant to our journey together so far. We have had ups and downs, weve had days that we were constantly fighting each other and days were she was the worst horse/pony i ever rode and just hated her for the day but over all, we've got such a good bond and weve both helped each other to become better.
We haven't always won at shows and we have come last but we kept going, put the work in for the next one and actually got somewhere.
Im glad i baught her, i dont think i couldve got such a good one since losing Jiggy 2 years before left me heartbroken and i had to sell the 2 i baught after Jiggys death. Im so glad Wanda was the right one & shes a keeper!

Right so this was the big moment we'd being practicing for!
We'd already got a clear round rosette in the 25cm clear round.
So we was gona enter the double clear but swapped it for the 30cm just to be on the safe side.
We went clear during the course and then we went on to win the jump off which was jumps 1,8,7 & 5 by being the fastest time :D.
This was my first time jumping with her at a show and oh my god i was sooooo happy to have won it, my confidence has gone sky high!
I was so proud of my pony, she did so well, not just in the jumping but in all our other classes too :D.
Altogether we came home with a clear round, 2 firsts and 2 fourths :D.
It was such a good way to end the season!
