Never content to rest on his laurels, DJ ZAQ continues to drive his talent to new heights by drawing on his vast amount of life experiences. As a child, ZAQ mastered multiple musical instruments and learned to produce music and sound effects with the help of a Korg sampler. As a young teenager and laser light technician, ZAQ worked behind the DJ booth alongside some of the best DJ's on the east coast. Reaching adulthood and seeking more adventure, ZAQ joined the United States Marine Corps. After 5 years of traveling the world extensively as an aviator, ZAQ brought all the knowledge of foreign cultures, traditions and music he had learned back to the United States.

In the time since, ZAQ has joined the ranks of San Fran's most in demand and elite DJ's. He blends a wide and versatile range of musical genres - utilizing solid technique, creative originality and an innate ability to read and react to the crowd in front of him. His talents have earned him multiple residencies with some of San Fran's most successful promoters and he has performed at a majority of the most popular and trendy night clubs and events in the Bay Area. He has shared the stage with large acts such as : LMFAO, Steve Aoki, Far East Movement, Hyper-Crush, Cali Swag District, Dirt Nasty, Mickey Avalon, DJ Scene, DJ Cobra, DJ Shift, Tony Arzadon and the legendary disco and dance music pioneer Nicky Siano of Studio 54 fame.

When he's not party rockin', you can find DJ ZAQ hard at work in his studio remixing and producing future dance floor sounds.
